What's On this May?A whistlestop tour of things to do on the Isle of Man in May 2022!
As we head into the summer season, there are many events taking place across the island where visitors and locals can immerse themselves in our Manx culture. Celebrate the Isle of Man's heritage from hundreds of years ago right up until the island you see before you today!
This month features much about the Isle of Man's traditions, showcasing our artistic side through song and dance. At the end of the month comes a much anticipated festival, absent from the island for 3 years due to Covid. The Isle of Man TT is back on our shores from the end of this month, and it's one we are very much looking forward to!

The Big Splash 2022 – From May to September
Our sculptures will be located around some of the most beautiful coastal corners of the Isle of Man allowing people to re-discover and engage with our island like never before. The event will not only offer endless hours of fun for residents and visitors but will create community cohesion and will have a positive impact on all those involved. Once the art trail closes, each of the dolphin sculptures will be auctioned off to raise funds in support of Hospice Isle of Man’s end of life and palliative care services.
The trail is designed to inspire both visitors and locals to explore and experience the Isle of Man’s UNESCO Biosphere pristine shorelines. From wind swept endless beaches in the north of the island, to the incredible dramatic vistas of the rocky coast in the south, the Big Splash trail will be for all to enjoy.
This event doesn't need much of an introduction. Taking place between Saturday 28th May and Saturday 11th June is the Isle of Man TT.
Making its first appearance since 2019, the TT makes its long-awaited comeback.
Gather in the hedgerows and witness the men and women who ride these mechanical beasts around a 37 mile long course made up of public roads at speeds up to 200mph! Not for the faint hearted.
During this period the island has an added buzz, with thousands of visitors flocking to the island to witness the world's greatest road racers take on the famous Mountain Course.
We still have availability for this year's edition of the TT. You can explore these here.
