We were delighted to team up once again with the Manx Wildlife Trust to play our part in nurturing the island’s natural beauty.
The Island Escapes team swapped office wear for gardening gear and headed to Crossags in Milntown. With tools in hand and a fair amount of mud on our wellies, the mission for a day of tree planting was to strengthen native habitats and support future generations of wildlife… so we got to work.
Tree planting is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to support local ecosystems. Each tree contributes to cleaner air, stronger soil, and a healthier environment in the long term for both people and wildlife. By helping restore woodland areas, we’re investing in a greener, wilder, and more resilient island. This is something we know our guests value just as much as we do.
Director of Island Escapes, John Keggin, commented, ‘For us, Island Escapes is about more than travel - it’s about caring for the place we, and our guests, love. Delighted to be volunteering with Manx Wildlife Trust again, helping to invest in the island’s future.’
Our partnership with Manx Wildlife Trust is part of our ongoing commitment to preserving the natural landscapes that make the Isle of Man such a desirable destination. Whether through volunteering, raising awareness, or getting involved, we’re proud to contribute to the island’s future. We look forward to continuing this meaningful work and supporting more conservation projects across the island in the coming year. Find out more about Manx Wildlife Trust and how you can get involved.
