Six months after acquiring a large industrial unit to create the island’s first solar-powered laundry facility, we are proud to announce the successful opening of the new Managed Services hub, which will play a vital role in our business and give back to the island's future.

Gracefully opened by the Isle of Man’s Lieutenant Governor, His Excellency Sir John Lorimer, the hub was full of laughter, a sense of achievement, and glasses to raise with local businesses and team members alike.
In keeping with the group’s B-Corp values, we wanted the operation to be as sustainable as possible. Given that our busiest period falls during the summer months, solar power was the obvious choice to support the increased energy demand.

The installation includes a 44kWp solar array, paired with 81kWh of Tesla Powerwall battery storage. At peak performance, the system can generate up to 250kWh per day and more than 41MWh annually. This equates to an annual CO₂ saving of over 8 tonnes - the equivalent of planting 368 trees every year. That said, the team also enjoys getting out and planting real ones with Manx Wildlife Trust too.
In addition to housing the laundry operation, our part-time housekeeping team will also run from here, while the rest of our team will continue to be based at our office in Castletown.
