Description
Sea View apartment has been significantly refurbished for the 2022 season. Modern appliances mixed with contemporary and vintage styling give the apartment a cosy, homely feel. With plenty of parking available, this is the perfect base from which to explore the whole island or to simply relax in.
A ground floor utility area offers good storage for sports and outdoor gear while the first floor apartment enjoys stunning panoramic views over Bradda Head and Rowany Golf Club, while being in the perfect position to enjoy the famous Port Erin sunset over the horizon.
Sea View sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms; one double with king size bed and one second bedroom with two single beds which can be used separately or joined together with either single or king size bedding. Both bedrooms share a modern bathroom accessed from the hallway.
The open plan living area offers a well-equipped modern kitchen, a dining table and four chairs and a super-comfortable L shaped sofa and smart TV.
Port Erin is small seaside town with lots going on, particularly during the summer months. Why not take a boat trip to the Calf of Man or a coastal cruise? Or paddleboarding, kayaking or sailing within the sheltered bay. For food and drink there is a growing choice of restaurants and bars, including a seaside non-grape winery Foraging Vintners where as a guest of ours you can sit and enjoy the sunset with a complimentary glass of their local fizz!
The Isle of Man Steam Railway runs from Port Erin via Castletown to Douglas and there is also a regular bus service which travels via the airport every 20 minutes at peak times.
Enjoy reduced rates for a round of golf at Rowany Golf Club when you stay with us - please ask for details.
For larger groups this property can be booked alongside Golf View Apartment which is in the same small complex.
Well behaved pets are welcome.

Beautiful location for a lovely apartment
Sea View is a lovely, beautifully furnished apartment that really lives up to its name with amazing views. It is very comfortable and was perfect for our needs. The apartment itself was very clean and well-equipped with everything you need including a coffee machine! It was perfectly located for me to get up in the morning and walk the dogs down the cliff path to the beach or alternatively to walk on the public footpath across the golf course. Beautiful views in all directions! Port Erin out of season is quiet but still offers enough for those of us not wanting night life! It made a great base to see more of the island, either as we did by car or thanks to the steam train that stops at the station just a short walk down the road. We will definitely return!

Amazing views from a comfortable base
This apartment had amazing views and was very comfortable and well laid out. There were a lot of extra touches to make it feel like a home from home.

Staying with dogs on the IOM look no further than Port Erin
The apartment is well laid out and has everything you need for a comfortable stay toilet flush needs looking at as at times it doesn't fill up properly. Port Erin is a lovely place I wouldn't stay anywhere else and I have been to all the main places on the island and you have everything 5 mins walk away shops/pubs etc but best of all for the doggy folk is Port Erin beach. OK its restricted to dogs from 10am to 7pm but its by far the best beach as clean as it gets on the island and the area is as picturesque as you can get. you can get a boat trip with them around the calf of man from Port Erin and its possible to buy a 1 day go anywhere ticket for £19 for the steam train then onto a bus or horse drawn tramway to the Derby station then the electric tramway up to Laxey and onto the Snaefell mountain railway and get all the way back to Port Erin in a day dogs included they cost just 30p each to get on the trams etc its a great way to see the island. I also recommend the Falcons Nest hotel good food/menu and staff and dogs allowed in too.

Amazing location
Beautiful location with excellent views. Essentials provided for stay which we were very grateful of! Easy to find and access with plentiful parking. Information folder very handy. Port erin is STUNNING. A blanket in the lounge would make it 5 star plus a mattress topper, the double bed is very firm. Apart from that it was just amazing!

Fine for 3 nights!
Comfy beds and sofa, very well equipped. Fantastic views of the sea. No heating or hot water on first night and no reply to email. Thankfully my husband had a mini tool kit and fixed the boiler hinself. Could do with a really good clean throughout! Skirting boards, under rugs, coffee machine, freezer drawers etc all pretty grubby. Shower leaks so put bath mat in corner of room to catch the water. Very homely, but so many ornaments, fake flowers, lamps etc that there wasn't much space for our own things. Fab beach and cove and lovely to be near our family again.

Great location for town and golf club
Lovely little apartment. Tastefully decorated with some lovely lighting which provides a homely warm feeling. More than adequate equipment in the kitchen for a Christmas dinner. 5 minute walk into town, Bradda Glen and just across the road from the golf course. We had a couple of issues with leaking water from the shower, a window and ceiling which have been raised and will hopefully be rectified by the owners. No sink plug or washing up bowl in the kitchen, which again has been raised as an issue.

a delightful holiday apartment
The sea view apartment has been updated with a great deal of care this year to meet holiday makers expectations of the ideal holiday home. We really appreciated that there is new equipment throughout the apartment. For example, saucepan set, crockery and cutlery in the kitchen. The apartment has many thoughtful extras to help holidaymakers feel very comfortable and we did feel very comfortable. The apartment is very homely. The washing machine and tumble dryer are quite difficult to access which was the only drawback we found. We intend to book again for our 2023 break

The Best holiday in years!
What can you say about the Isle of Man - Friendly, relaxed, wonderful place and many many more. On top of all of that, the apartment was just out of this world. Location - could walk to everything one would need on a daily basis. Port Erin is just so perfectly compact. Apartment - double aspect views. One directly towards the sea, the other towards a golf course and beyond that, rolling hills. The apartment was spotless, modern, everything you could ever need. They had even provided the little touches. A herb and spices collection, foil, milk, butter, bread, tea bags, coffee bags, biscuits. How very thoughtful. The little touches until you get chance for a full shop at the local ( and wonderfully stocked supermarket). We spent our days travelling around the Island visiting wonderful towns and beaches. At the end of the day, we would return to our apartment and cook dinner in the well appointed kitchen and sit and eat dinner with views to die for. The weather was a great help and very kind to us. Cool but sun nearly every day. We Will definitely return. Thank you Port Erin.

A bit shabby round the edges but comfortable and good location
Location good for the beach, public transport connections, and restaurants. The sofa is very comfortable and kitchen fairly well equipped but no scissors found. Some light bulbs need changing and sink tap in bathroom needs serious attention. Beds were comfortable and the welcome pack of bread and milk etc was a nice touch. The lights are controlled by remotes which were a little difficult to navigate and the switch in master bedroom was hanging off the wall. Overall a comfortable stay but the flat needs a little tlc. TV instructions would also be handy.

Disappointing accommodation
We were expecting more from a supposedly 4 star flat. Views were great and customer service response was good after a misunderstanding about arrival time and the flat not being ready. However, despite plenty of 'fancy' elements like remote controlled lighting and apple TV with sound system, there were many disappointing aspects and many of the basics: - bedroom blinds were not sufficient for keeping the room dark at night time; - very bare minimum of cutlery and cups; - shower screen far too small meant bathroom floor wet every time shower was used; -not at all toddler friendly; - washing machine and tumble drier under the stairs mean you had to be on your knees to use and it left a musty smell on the stairs and landing. Overall barely what I would consider 3 star and quite pricey for what it was.

Lovely apartment
Just back from a lovely stay at Seaview. Comfortable and clean and very modern. Only downside is no curtains in bedrooms only thin blinds so very bright mornings resulting in all being awake by 5am. And a very noisy neighbour downstairs making noise until 1am which wasnt ideal with two 5 year olds trying to sleep!

Good location, good views, close to amenities
Found the accommodation easy to find and close to the town and its amenities. Good location for walking and golf course across the road if you're a golfer. Apartment was clean and there was adequate facilities including a good shower and supply of kitchen utensils. Bed was comfortable. Didn't use the TV/sky box much but the location of the box in the store cupboard as opposed to being in the same room as the TV could have been an issue if we used the TV a lot as the you really need to see the screen when using the remote. Overall I would recommend the apartment and its location being only a 10 minute drive to Port St Mary and Castletown.

Review Sea View Apartment June 2021
Excellent location and on the whole clean and comfortable. However some negative issues. Biggest issue was fridge freezer stopped working. Smaller issues was that it is in need on maintenance. Tap in washbasin in bathroom was loose. The shower glass curtain didnt work very well so leakage onto floor, the trim on the blinds was missing, the appearance of the front door was very unappealing, the kitchen was not well provisioned (no scissors, no teapot, no jug of any sort etc), also the instructions in booklet for WiFi were out of date. All this despite being advertised by Island Escapes as having been recently refurbished. If these issues were fully addressed then would recommend it but not as is..

June staycation
Location was good but bear in mind the steep hill to get to any amenities. The outside of the building is truly awful and the gardens are grim. The inside hallway smells moldy and the carpet was stained. The main bedroom door repeatedly jammed when opening and closing. Lots of door shelves in the fridge were cracked and broken. The beds were so uncomfortable it was an endurance and we were exhausted from lack of sleep. There are blinds on the windows which provided zero respite from the light so everyone was awake with the sun, 4.15am!!! I would never stay here again despite the efforts made to decorate as I appreciate comfort over aesthetics. Nick was very helpful in quickly supplying basic kitchen ware which shouldve been there already if checked correctly. I would use Island escapes again but I would ask a few more questions next time.

Comfortable apartment in a great location
Really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment has clearly been recently renovated and its very stylish and comfortable. Its also a short walk to the Main Street of shops/restaurants as well as the prom. The apartment had been cleaned before our arrival a though perhaps a deeper clean was needed as some areas/corners were dusty

Perfect Location for a 4 day Break
This apartment was well located, well appointed and very comfortable, all couple with a generous welcome pack of great coffee (including decaffeinated), tea, milk, bread, butter and Manx cheeses.

Great Staycation.
Lovely spacious apartment with fabulous views over the golf course and Port Erin Bay. Although located at the top of the hill, it was easy enough walking back up from the Promenade. We ate out at a good variety of cafes and pubs most of the time but the apartment seemed well equipped for self catering. Would be happy to stay there again.
