New for 2023!Stovell is a large and spacious self-catering holiday home, set in a secluded location in the leafy riverside village of Tromode.
With the ability to sleep up to 8 people, Stovell will comfortably accommodate a family or a group of friends. A double bedroom on the ground floor along with an en-suite offers a solution if one or two members of the group should struggle with stairs.
Boasting a large garden and paddock area, the property also benefits from a riverside decking area, ideal for barbecuing and relaxing after a day of exploring the island.
There is a Sonos system that can be used to play music, podcasts or the radio via Bluetooth, allowing you to settle in as if you were at home!
Douglas, the island’s capital is nearby with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. From here, there are also great transport links to take you around the island. Use the Heritage Railways which all begin in Douglas! Take the Steam railway to the south of the island or the Manx Electric Railway to Laxey, Ramsey and even Snaefell!

Damage: Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we now take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damages to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

Ideal for our needs
The house was very well equipped throughout especially in the kitchen, just needed a couple of empty cupboards for food storage . The beds & bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of storage. Unfortunately due to weather conditions we only managed 1 evening in the garden but there are plenty of places to sit outside . The conservatory was big and light ,comfortable seating , could do with a couple of chairs as with six it was very cosy on the settee. Bathrooms were good and towels very fluffy. Unfortunately there was only 1 toilet roll between 3 bathrooms, but luckily we did bring our own. Even following the instructions we couldnt get the lounge Tv working properly. Others were ok The area is lovely in a quiet area within easy distance of Douglas. The house was as described. I would recommend and visit again with a group.Cleanliness

Lovely comfortable stay
We had a lovely stay at Stovell just before Christmas. The house is in a great location but tucked away at the end of a private driveway surrounded by beautiful grounds. It is very well equipped with everything you could need and for such a big house was very warm and cosy. We would definitely stay here again!Cleanliness

A lovely house

Wonderful house in Tromode
We had a fantastic week in this super comfortable and well-equipped house. It had everything we needed and the grounds are lovely too. A fantastic space - we walked to the beach and the central location meant we could get to everywhere really easily. Would really recommend a stay at Stovell. Lovely place
We stayed here for a week at the start of the summer holidays with my parents, grandad and 3 dogs. The place is stunning! There is literally everything in it that you could possibly need including board games which the kids loved. Loads of space for the dogs outside and in the kitchen, ours are old so enjoyed plodding around the enclosed garden. In a great location, and nicely tucked away so you feel like there's no one around. Grandad loved sitting in the conservatory watching the rabbits out the front and the children playing. Beautiful property with everything you need.
We stayed at Stovell as a 'staycation' whilst our house was being decorated. It is a beautiful property with stunning grounds to explore and it was lovely watching the rabbits roam around the paddock each day. It was truly a home from home with everything you could possibly need catered for. All the amenities and facilities were as described. Fantastic. Would definitely stay again if needed.Cleanliness

Beautiful place to stay but not what Id call child friendly or caters for disabilities
We have had a lovely time but felt the accommodation needs reviewing to make it more appropriate for young children and frail elderly people. This could be done by no glassware and vases etc around and downstairs bathroom with raised seat and toilet railings. Location has been excellent and look forward to coming back to IOM soonCleanliness
