Take a leisurely 15-minute stroll to The Mitre in Kirk Michael main village, the oldest and most beloved pub on the Island, ideal for a relaxed dinner and tasty tipple. Just a little farther along, an endless sweep of sandy beach unfolds before you, inviting you to wander left or right - letting your footsteps decide where you drift next.
For the motorheads amongst you, you can comfortably see a section of the TT racecourse from your cosy cottage. Take it all in from the sun-soaked south-westerly patio with a soundtrack of birdsong and rustling leaves. While away unhurried afternoons with a glass of something special, watching the sun melt into the horizon as evening settles in.
For couples travelling with friends or family, Rosehip Cottage sits just next door and can be booked together, accommodating up to six guests between the two.

We had a pleasant stay. The cottage is in a quite part of the Island, just what we were looking for.It was well equipped and we were provided with Bread, Milk, Cheese, Marge and coffee/tea. The food element was a surprise, but very welcome. Had we know ahead of time, it would have saved us a trip to the shops when we arrived on the island.The only issue was trying to turn on the washing machine - we were defeated by the technology!
We were first time visitors to the Isle of Man. Kirk Michael is a great location for exploring the island and Acorn Cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped.
Lovely cottage with beautiful views. Bed was really comfortable. Would recommend and would choose this location again.

Comfortable property, well appointed. Very quiet location which was just what we needed. Shame electric car charging was not available despite being advertised.

Acorn cottage is a real gem in a lovely setting.\nReally well fitted out and very comfortable bed.\nJust a few little things!\nHad a problem with the kitchen tap and 2 days for plumber and no hot water on last morning so cold wash which took me way back!!!\nPlease fix bathroom mirror light.\nOther than these little things we had a lovely stay at Acorn Cottage.\n

Cooildarry and Slieau Corn and the coast can all be walked from the door. Glen Helen and Peel Hill are just a short drive.
