Very good but one lingering concern

This property was one of the best equipped holiday homes I’ve stayed in. It was cosy and comfortable and in a great location for exploring the south of the island. While we were staying we were aware of a slightly damp smell but soon got used to it. On returning home, I’ve realised how pervasive the smell must have been. My bag, clothes and books now all have a musty smell that I’m working to clean out. It may be the case that we were the first guests of the season, in which case the doors and windows might just need to be swung open for a while to get the fresh air in and the damp smell out!
