Letting rules on the Isle of Man

All properties must be registered by law

It is a legal requirement that any self catering accommodation on the Isle of Man must be registered with the Isle of Man Government under the Tourism Act 1975.

This process ensures all legal, health and safety and accommodation quality standards have been adhered to. This is to ensure the safety and well being of visitors during their time in your accommodation.

This includes having the correct planning and building controls, fire safety and insurance in place.

A comprehensive checklist produced by Visit Isle of Man can be found here.

At Island Escapes we can help guide prospective self catering holiday home owners through the process and apply on your behalf.
