At Island Escapes we appreciate that every homeowners needs are different, that is why we offer a flexible service to meet individual requirements, we can help as little or as much as required.
Marketing & Bookings
For all our properties we will devise a marketing strategy to allow us to maximise opportunities with the property. We are not simply just a place to advertise, but a company that is continuously looking to drive business for our owners through many different channels.
We operate a modern online bookings system, designed by the holiday let industry for the holiday let industry.
This allows us to take care of:
· All administration, guest and owner communications
· Handle all payments, including security deposits where applicable.
· We can track and monitor advertising campaigns
· Automated accounts and billing
· Manage brochure requests and bookings
· All communications are tracked
In addition to our own advertising, we work with the major OTA's including Airbnb, VRBO, Tripadvisor rentals and Holidu to ensure maximum reach.
In addition to the marketing & booking service many of our owners opt for our fully managed service which provides a total hands-off approach to letting your holiday home.
During guest stays we’ll co-ordinate the various weekly changeover tasks through our dedicated housekeeping partner Island Cottage Care. Cleanliness is something we take incredibly seriously, and we are proud to hold the Safe, Clean & Legal™ COVID-19 accreditation from Quality in Tourism for our approach to managed properties.
Guest services –We ensure any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently during guest stays through the provision of an out of hours on call service.
Coordinating maintenance – where maintenance is required during a guests stay we’ll work to complete this on your behalf.
Taking all tasks relating to the property away from you so you enjoy the return from your property without any of the hassle.
Managed Plus Service
Our Managed Plus service is an additional feature where we offer the full service described in our managed service above, but with the additional benefit of being on call to assist with the property year round regardless of if guests are staying. We can keep checks looking our for damage, leaks or issues that may arise outside of times when the property is let out together with co-ordinating maintenance. This is ideal for those owners who may live off the Isle of Man.
Our local presence means we are know the island, the industry and our properties inside and out! Our main office is based in Port Erin, with a secondary hub in Onchan ran by Isle of Man Travel Services who handle much of our back office administration. Each office is open for visitors to pop in for any assistance or Tourist information whilst on holiday.

At the end of 2018 I took the hard decision to offer a precious family home as a rental property. Right from day 1 Island Escapes were very helpful and supportive in preparing the house for visitors and getting it through the official registration and inspection processes.

The accreditation has been launched by Visit Isle of Man in conjunction with tourism and hospitality quality assessment provider; Quality In Tourism (QiT). QiT has been assessing hospitality and tourism properties to set and improve industry standards across the UK for over 15 years, with Visit Isle of Man having worked with the assessor for over 13 years.
