Yn Chruinnaght Celtic Gathering Festival
Yn Chruinnaght Celtic Gathering has been celebrating Manx, Irish, Cornish, Welsh, Scottish and Breton culture for over 40 years. Based in Peel, a fishing town on the beautiful west coast of the Isle of Man, the festival presents six days of music and dance concerts, family friendly ceilis, talks & workshops, Celtic language & literature, delicious food ‘n’ folk sessions, artisan craft fair and lots of free community events.
Get away from it all on the Calf of Man
The Calf of Man is a small islet of some 600 acres separated from the Isle of Man by a narrow channel through which tides race four times each day. Named by our Viking forebears (Kalfr means a small island lying off a larger) the Calf has a fascinating history with lessons of self-reliance that carry messages for us today.
