Laa Boaldyn – Manx May Day!

Monday 1st May at Cregneash

Celebrate Laa Boaldyn (Manx May Day) with Manx music, dancing and traditional crafts.

Uphold Manx May Day traditions by making Croish Cuirns – a principle form of protection against mischievous fairies. Folklore stories about Manx spring traditions will be shared throughout the day and don’t miss Manx dance group Perree Bane performances at 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

‘What Lies Beneath the Waves?’

Wednesday 3rd May, 7pm at The Manx Museum

Marine scientist, diver and MHK Dr Michelle Haywood gives an illustrated talk on our UNESCO Biosphere’s rich marine life and its importance, at The Manx Museum.

A fundraising event everyone can get involved in. Containing all the aspects of a triathlon and done over a manageable distance you can choose to walk instead of run, take your time on the bike and paddle instead of swim (it's up to you).

Supper and Rose Tasting at The Boatyard, Peel

Thursday 18th May, 6pm

Join us at The Boatyard to taste some world class rose wine followed by a delicious 2 course supper.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of rose sparkling before having the opportunity to enjoy a further 6 rose wines from around the world, rating them in order of your “favourite” to “least favourite”, without knowing exactly what they are – you will be tasting them blind!
The tasting will be followed by a delicious 2 course supper accompanied by a glass of whichever rose you rated as your favourite!

The Manx Nature Show - Morning Outdoor Mindfulness Session

On the final day of The Manx Nature Show, come and enjoy a little moment of peace in nature.
